II. 2. 163. Bản in Quarto đầu tiên chép rằng:
'Of my obscured course, and shall finde time
From this enormious state, seeking to giue
Losses their remedies, all weary &c.'
'Of my obscured course. And shall finde time
From this enormous State, seeking to giue
Losses their remedies. All weary &c.'
Rowe sửa lại là:
'Of my obscured course. I shall find time
For this enormous State, and seek to give
Losses their Remedies. All weary &c.'
[Reading parts
of the letter.
'Of my obscured course—and shall find time
From this enormous state—seeking to give
Losses their remedies.—All weary &c.']
'Of my obscured course; and shall find time
From this enormous state,—seeking,—to give
Losses their remedies:—All weary &c.'
Tiến sĩ Delius áp dụng cách chấm câu gần như tương tự:
'Of my obscured course; and shall find time
From this enormous state,—seeking to give
Losses their remedies—All weary &c.'
Ông Bailey (trong tác phẩm On the Received Text of Shakespeare's Dramatic Writings, &c. II. 91) đề xuất đọc là:
'and shall find balm
For this enormous state, seeking to give
Losses their remedies &c.'
